Dr. C-. M. Jackton, Philadelphia Dear Sir I have been a subject of Dyspepsia, in its worst form, for the last five years. Such was my condition for twelve months that the physicians and all who saw me said I must die. While in this condition I was curried to the watering places in Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina, but was not benefitted by any water to which was ta ken. While on ray way home I stopped. at Rutherfordton, a small village in North Ca rolina, to try the effect of some Chalybeate water in that place. About the last of the Week I went into a drug store to get some medicine for my child and myself. There were several of the village physicians in the store, and one of them seemed to take some interest in my case, and, after asking me some questions, said he had been a dysper e tic, and had been greatly benefitted by the use of Dr. Hooflan's German Bitters," Prepared by yOU, and he insisted that 1 would try the Bitters. He, also, called the next day atmvroom and insisted so much - lwt I vould try them that I asked him to tgot uue 4na buttle. He did it, and I com menced taking it as directed, and 1 do say was nusre benefitted by it than all the wa ter and ua-ediciae I had ever taken. Dr. R. Hooker, Rogers Store, Wake Co, ft- C, Oct. 24, 1753, says: "Having expe. rienced very great benefit from the use of 'Hoofland's German Bitters,' in Chronic dysentery and functional derangements of tlie Liver and its concomitant evils, I am de-ii-ous of obtaining a quantity of it for the " li; (,f my community.
